Safe Haven Fashion Shoot
October 15th, 2009 Posted in Photo shoot
The children from Safe Haven Orphanage create a number of different craft items to help generate income that they can then use for their every day living.
In this photo shoot, they are displaying some of their traditional Karen weaving. These include scarves, tops and skirts that they make at the orphanage. Friends and supporters of the orphanage then sell these items in western countries with all money going back directly to the orphanage and the children.
